SIMPLY RAW VALENTINE CHOCOLATES
INGREDIENTS:

• 100 g raw cacao butter
• 6 tbsp raw cacao powder
• 3-4 tbsp maple syrup or agave
• 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
• Pinch of high quality sea salt
• Melt the raw cacao butter in a bowl over a pan of water
on a low heat .
• Once melted add the raw cacao powder, salt and
sweetener and mix well with a metal balloon whisk.
• Taste the mix and add more sweetener if required
and blend all the ingredients well (CHOC mix should
be smooth and runny).
• Take off the heat and spoon half of the mix into silicone
moulds or ice cube trays or mini baking cups.
• Leave to set in the freezer for 15-20 minutes of 2 hours
in the fridge.

especially B-complex.
• naturally low in saturated fats,
cholesterol, and sodium
• free of sugar, dairy, and gluten.
It has a strong flavor that is described
as nutty, cheesy or creamy which
makes it easier to avoid dairy. It can
be used to make all kinds of cheesy
toppings and spreads. Great for nacho
sauces but my favorite is this healthENut
popcorn recipe below.

PUMPKIN SEEDS:
This Halloween, don’t forget to save those pumpkin seeds after you scoop them out of the pumpkin.
• Wash well and pull any orange pumpkin off of them.
• Drizzle with a good, quality Olive Oil (like RALLIS).
• Sprinkle with sea salt or your favourite seasoning.
• Dehydrate until crisp or put on low heat in the oven.
Pumpkin seeds are not only delicious but also provide many health benefits. Pumpkin seeds are high in Zinc, they are 29 per cent protein and rich source of Omega 3, B-complex Vitamins and Calcium. They also have anti-inflammatory properties and are high in fiber. This is a great thing to do with the family.

Herbs & Nutrition
Golden Enzyme Drink:
-1 fresh Organic Pineapple(skinned & Core)
-1 tsp of agave or Honey
-4 Organic Crrots peeled
Blend all of the ingredients in the Vitamix.
This drink is full of enzymes, and easy to digest.
A great way to start your day, and slow the aging process down!
 

SUPER SUSTAINING SMOOTHIE:

From: Foodmatters,
1 small avocado or banana (Avacodo -provides EFA's, good fats that allow for the absorption of fat soulble vitamins such as vitamin A,D, E, and K)
A handful of baby spinach leaves(Spinach-good source of iron) or sunflower sprouts( great source of protein)
1 heaping tablespoon of barley grass or (Greener Grasses)
1 teaspoon of spirulina (high in protein, chlorophyll, beta-carotene)or blue green algae(source of vitamin B12)
1 tablespoon of agave
1 tablespoon of bee pollen
1 tablespoon of raw cacao powder (high in antioxidant flavonoids, as well as the mineral sulfer, and magnesium)
1 tablespoon of maca powder (provides more than 55 phytonutrients, fiber, protein, minerals, & vitamins)
1 cup of ice and 2 cups of filtered water

Blend all ingredients in blender and enjoy.

I drink this smoothie mid-morning after my water and lemon and it keeps me going all day long.
